![]() If world servers are accomodating too many players and are refusing to let more players in, yes long-time-afk players should be disconnecting to let others in. ![]() All this is speculation, though, so don't take my word for it. of simultaneous players and more with the login queue itself. Please let your follow warriors of light log in, by logging out when you're done for the day.Īctually, if what I'm collecting from my experiences in the queue and the lodestone announcements is accurate, the problem is less with the no. SE is aware of the queue disconnects and at least anecdotally, is working on it (I went from a 2002 every 15 minutes Friday/yesterday to none in over an hour today). But there's also a lot of people who have a limited play time and aren't using external tools to stay logged or haven't even been able to get in game once, and they're now locked out by the absurd queue times.Īs more people stay logged in permanently, the rate at which people log out decreases, and queue times increase indefinitely. My family consists only of myself and my wonderful wife of light, so we can take turns babysitting the queues and have plenty of time to play once we do get in. For people with limited game time, the only way they could possibly play is by already being logged in, so they do whatever they can to stay logged in. The queue times are absurdly long and you have to babysit the queue for the entire time. The queue is moving drastically slower today than yesterday, and based on what I've heard in game and online, I think there's an increase in the number of people using bots or other dubious methods of avoid the auto-logout timer. Yesterday, I was able to get through a ~3800 queue in an hour and half. That means this queue of 2400 will take approximately 6 hours to get through. I'm currently sitting at ~2000 in my queue, and started at ~2400 an hour ago.
